Yes this is a white bean smoothie … you’ve read it right! It’s super creamy, delicious and packed full of protein – but don’t take my word for it – have a go, try it and tell me what you think ….
400g White Beans
400ml Coconut Milk or Cream
1 Large (300g) Avocado
2 Cups of Frozen Strawberries, Raspberries and Pomegranate Seeds
2 teaspoons Cinnamon Powder
2 teaspoons Vanilla Powder
2 teaspoons Rose Water (or more to taste)
Blender and four glasses or bowls
Simply blend all the ingredients in a blender, pour into glasses or bowls and top with your favourite toppings … voila!!!
If you want to reduce the fat content, then by all means use coconut milk instead of coconut cream.
You can use any combination of fruits, so go ahead and please have fun with it!
I used tinned cannellini beans which were drained and rinsed before I used them. I would love to hear if you use any other kind or type of white bean.
